Dr Florence Morley was born and educated in England, completing her medical training at St George’s University of London. Following migration to Australia, she chose to specialise and train as a Psychiatrist with Monash Health and gained a Masters of Psychological Medicine with University of Melbourne. She has experience in working with people from many cultures in a diverse range of situations including refugee health, perinatal and forensic settings.
Since obtaining Fellowship with The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists, Florence has continued her public work with Monash Health. Specialising in psychosis, she has worked in inpatient rehabilitation with patients suffering with chronic psychosis. Dr Morley is also experienced in acute settings with youth patients, early in their mental health journey.
Florence is committed to providing collaborative, evidence-based care with a non-judgmental approach. She encourages open and sensitive consultations with patients directed towards assessment and treatment planning.
