Dr Morteza Jafarinia

Dr Morteza Jafarinia has worked as a Consultant Psychiatrist in Iran since 2012 before moving to Melbourne in 2019. He works in both the private and public sector and speaks multiple languages.

Dr Morteza Jafarinia obtained his medical doctorate degree in Iran in 2006, followed by training in Psychiatry and Psychosomatic medicine. Subsequently, he became a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists. Along with his role at OPTIMIND, he is currently working as a Consultant Psychiatrist in the public sector, treating patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Dr Jafarinia sees people 16 years to 60 years of age.
