Dr Fereshteh Shakeri completed her medical training and psychiatry training in Iran. She obtained membership of Iran Psychiatry Association. Dr Shakeri worked as a consultant psychiatrist in a public mental health and private clinic till moving to Melbourne.
Dr Shakeri became a fellow of Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatry and has been working in psychiatry in Latrobe Regional Hospital and Eastern Health in both inpatient and community settings. She has over 14 years experience working in mental health and is passionate about providing evidence based care to achieve excellent clinical outcomes. She sees people aged 18 - 65 years of age.
