OPTIMIND is seeking a dedicated Psychologist to become a part of our multidisciplinary team. This role involves conducting psychological assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based therapies to clients across a diverse age range. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with other mental health professionals to provide holistic care and support to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed psychological assessments and evaluations to diagnose and understand clients' mental health conditions.
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on evidence-based psychological therapies.
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions to address a wide range of mental health issues.
- Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, social workers, and other health professionals to provide integrated care.
- Participate in case conferences and contribute to the multidisciplinary team's discussions and decisions.
- Maintain up-to-date client records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with professional standards.
- Engage in continuous professional development and stay abreast of the latest psychological research and methodologies.
Qualifications:
- A master's or doctoral degree in Psychology.
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Psychologist.
- Proven experience in psychological assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Strong clinical skills with expertise in applying evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building trust and rapport with clients.
