We are seeking a qualified Psychiatrist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality psychiatric care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health conditions. Working closely with our multidisciplinary team, the Psychiatrist will play a key role in helping to identify and improve our patients' mental health issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, including assessing mental health conditions and determining appropriate treatment plans.
- Prescribe and manage medications, monitoring patients' progress and making adjustments as necessary.
- Provide psychotherapy and counseling to patients as indicated.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychologists and social workers, to provide optimal care.
- Stay informed of the latest developments in psychiatry and mental health treatment, incorporating new research and approaches into patient care.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and legal requirements.
Qualifications
- Medical degree with Post Graduate Qualification in Psychiatry.
- Current registration as a Specialist Psychiatrist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Demonstrated experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of mental health conditions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
