Jess is a Registered psychologist, and a member of the Clinical Registrar program. She has experience in the assessment and treatment of children, adolescents and adults, and currently works with adults and young people 18+. Jess has experience working in community health and hospital settings as well as in private practice. She aims to create a safe, friendly and non-judgmental space where people can explore issues and learn new skills and ways of coping.
Jess has experience working with a range of concerns such as:
– Anxiety (e.g. panic attacks, social anxiety, generalised anxiety)
– Depression and mood disorders
– Relationship, attachment and interpersonal concerns
– Trauma
– Grief and loss
– Work and life stress
– Moderate psychosis
Jess uses different therapeutic approaches including CBT, ACT, DBT and mindfulness. She has a special interest in providing support for the LGBTIQA+ community. This includes minority stress, sexuality, gender and related concerns.
