Julia has worked in a variety of public and community health settings. Her experience in working with young people at risk includes work at:
- Youth mental health
- Domestic Violence counselling
- Psychoncology
Julia’s compassion and strengths-based approach provides a holistic psychological framework to help her patients overcome their difficulties. Working with adolescents and adults, Julia helps her patients by using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), EMDR and mindfulness.
Julia’s special interests include:

- Youth Mental Health
- Cancer support & adjustment to illness
- Perinatal Mental Health issues
When Julia isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, practising yoga and going for walks around the Mornington Peninsula area. She likes to travel and one day hopes to ski with her partner in North America
